Dear Professor Ilea, My name is Alexandra Isopescu, and I am a sixth year student in the English line of the Faculty of Dentistry. I am writing on behalf of Hayder Hasan, a sixth year student at the Faculty of Medicine, whom I am helping to present his platform at our Faculty. He built umfclujresearch.org, a student led platform that brings research at UMF Cluj into one place. Teaching staff publish research projects and students apply with their university account. Student scientific circles run their own pages, events and members, and each project is followed through to the published article. More than 600 students and teaching staff have accounts, 75 of them from our Faculty, and 30 circles are active on it. On 30 September he presented it to the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine. We would be grateful for 20 minutes of your time, at your office or online, to show you the platform and to discuss how the Faculty of Dentistry could support it, together with the Dean if you consider it useful.
